Aberdeenshire Council is one of Lockit-safe’s long-standing clients. For seven consecutive years, we have won their tender to provide cycle parking facilities for schools in their area.
In 2022, we have completed projects across 10 sites for the Council, with some exciting solutions, designed to fit the different spaces and requirements of each school.
Aberdeenshire is a largely rural area, so the geographical area was large and required careful planning of deliveries and timings to maximise efficiency and speed of the installations.
Across the 10 sites, we created over 110 new cycle parking spaces and 50 scooter parking spaces and used a variety of shelter and compound designs including our Barratt shelter, Hamble shelter, and Hamble lockable compound.
