Stainless Steel Cycle Shelters installed for Aberdeenshire Council
The majority of the cycle shelters and bike compounds we manufacture and install are galvanised steel with powder coating. But this is not the only material we can manufacture in and when Aberdeenshire Council were looking to improve the cycle parking facilities at key public locations and facilities they wanted something that looked sleek and contemporary, yet was still durable and low maintenance. The answer was stainless steel cycle shelters.
THE SOLUTION
Our Paragon cycle shelters are ideal for urban environments as they allow easy access from both sides. The V shaped supports are modern and open in style and look great in stainless steel.
We installed 10 stainless steel Paragon cycle shelters across six locations in Aberdeenshire including –
- Alford Transport Museum
- Banchory Sellfield Car Park
- Ellon Mark Street Car Park
- Inverurie Station
- Portlethen Swimming Pool
- Peterhead York Street Car Park
The majority of these were new cycle parking provisions but some were upgrades to existing bike shelters.
