Foxhills Primary school in Sheffield, approached Lockit-safe to create a bespoke canopy for one of their classroom buildings that would partially cover an outdoor area.
The area was already used as a play and outdoor classroom area, but was limited in use by the weather.
OUR SOLUTION
We designed and installed a 33m x 6m canopy that provided shelter for an area of the playground. The canopy had a multiwall roof and guttering system. Its steels were powder coated for increased longevity.
The installation could not be done in term time as the area needed to be used by the children, so was installed during the school half term. To ensure we were finished on time, we doubled up on the teams.
