The project involved transforming a previously disused area of the site by removing an existing brick building, preparing a new concrete base, and installing a robust, steel-framed cycle compound with keycode access.

OVERCOMING CHALLENGES

Prior to installation, the team had to demolish and clear a brick-built structure to make space for the new compound. This phase was completed safely and efficiently, ensuring no disruption to hospital operations.

Following the clearance, a new concrete slab was poured to provide a stable, long-term foundation for the cycle compound.
