Creating a bespoke link walkway for York University Bio-med Centre
Lockit-safe were contracted by York University to design, manufacture and install a canopy walkway that would link two of their buildings and provide weather protection for people moving between the buildings.
SOLUTION
The link canopy was 30m in length and linked the entrances of two buildings. The design utilused a curved roof section and integrated lighting.
The installation was to a very tight schedule and was completed in a week despite there being access restrictions and issues to the site.
