Lockit Safe Secures Historic Bike Nest Tender Win in Lambeth

Lockit Safe has achieved a major milestone with a 3-year framework agreement with the London Borough of Lambeth. This win comes on the heels of recent successes in the London Borough’s of Kingston, Sutton and Merton.

Under the agreement, Lockit Safe will supply over 750 bike nests, providing 4500 secure cycle spaces for Lambeth’s residents. The installations are set to begin in the next couple of months, promising a significant improvement in the Borough’s cycling infrastructure.

Lambeth:
Lambeth holds a unique place in history as one of the leading London Borough’s for cycle parking. This project not only continues that legacy but also sets a new benchmark for cycling infrastructure in London. Matt Smith (Lockit-Safe Director) emphasized the importance of understanding Lambeth’s pioneering role in cycle parking research, whilst underlining the significance of the new BikeNest project.

“Lockit Safe’s latest win in Lambeth is more than just a contract; it’s a historic step forward in supporting sustainable transport in London. By significantly increasing secure cycle spaces, Lockit Safe is helping to make cycling a more viable and attractive option for Lambeth’s residents.”
