Lockit-safe is proud to announce a new contract with Northern Trains to deliver and install a wide range of cycle infrastructure solutions at 15 stations across the North of England. The
project, which is scheduled for summer 2025, will support active travel and enhance sustainable commuting options for thousands of rail users.

Delivering Better Facilities for Cyclists

As part of this partnership, Lockit-safe will supply and install a variety of secure cycle storage and access solutions, including:

● Cycle stands
● Secure cycle shelters – including our trusted Hamble & Junior Winchester models
● Wheel ramps for improved access
● Cycle path installations to support seamless onward travel

This infrastructure investment by Northern Trains is aimed at encouraging more passengers to cycle to their local stations by providing convenient, safe and durable storage facilities.

The project will span a diverse range of locations, ensuring improved cycle access at the following Northern stations:

● Belle Vue Station
● Burnage Station
● Patricroft Station
● Rochdale Station
● Humphrey Park Station
● Davenport Station
● Heaton Chapel Station
● Bredbury Station
● Gatley Station
● Broadbottom Station
● Hazel Grove Station
● Rose Hill Marple Station
● Romiley Station

With installations carefully scheduled to take place during the summer months, Lockit-safe’s experienced teams will deliver the works efficiently and with minimal disruption to passengers.
