The current social distancing guidelines set out by the government have created potential issues for supermarkets and other retail outlets. Customers are required to queue 2m apart and are let into the store on a one in one out basis. Many of the stores do not have adequate cover for customers whilst they wait in line.

This is a problem faced by many supermarkets at present and with social distancing looking to be part of our everyday lives for the foreseeable future it will be a must for organisations to offer weather protection for queuing customers.
All our covered walkways are manufactured from hot-dipped galvanised mild steel and are available with a variety of roof claddings and finishes. We can also include features such as integrated lighting, guttering systems, drainage, and post protectors. The galvanised steel frame can be polyester powder coated to match any RAL colour so the walkway can be fully integrated with the building and any branding or corporate colours.

Our Walkways can be bolted down to existing concrete, If the surface is tarmac, paving slabs or block paving them our teams of groundworks can install the necessary concrete foundations to comply with the structural calculations of the walkway.
